Vuja De is a 330-unit affordable housing block designed for Ithemba Property in downtown Johannesburg. The project is one of more than 2000 new affordable rental units the developer has completed in the inner-city this year. Local Studio designed the courtyard to be an extension of tenants’ living spaces as a counterpoint to micro-units which range from 17m² to 34m².
